Raymond F. Forgione, 92, of Southington, CT, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT. Born May 19, 1928 in New Britain, CT, he was the son of the late Anthony and Anna (Carrozza) Forgione, and lived in West Hartford for 57 years before moving to Southington. Raymond served in the U.S. Navy. After the Navy, he worked as a cook before joining Gro-site as the first group leader tool designer. Raymond started his own business, B&F Design, and was the owner for 52 years before retiring in 2019.
Raymond is survived by his current wife and her two children; three sons and a daughter (and their spouses) from his first wife; two sisters; two brothers; a granddaughter and her husband and a great-grandson. He was predeceased by his dedicated first wife of 59 years, Nancy (Hopkins) Forgione of West Hartford; a granddaughter, Halina Nancy Szczepankowski of West Hartford; a brother Pasquale "Pat" Forgione of New Britian and a sister Margaret Ann Forgione of New Britain.
Burial with military honors will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Southington.
