Anna May Stonebraker of Waveland passed away Tuesday morning in her home. She was 60.

Anna was one of the longest living liver transplant patients in the U.S. She was a member of Calvary Chapel. She loved Teddy Bears, porcelain dolls and taking care of her grandkids.

Born Oct. 9, 1960 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of James Dowell and Lorene Jones Dowell. She attended school in Crawfordsville and later earned her GED.

Surviving family includes: son, Nathan Stonebraker (Heather) of Crawfordsville; her dog, Mila; three brothers, Robert Dowell (Vicky), David Dowell (Kelly), Mike Dowell; three sisters, Wanda Cooper, Leda Rossi (Mike), Linda Rodgers; two sisters-in-law, Roberta Dowell, Carole Dowell; six grandchildren, Ashley, Sarah, Robbie, Curtis, Heaven, Betty and six great grandchildren; lots of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Delbert Dowell.

The family plans to have a celebration of her life at Calvary Chapel later this year. Details will be announced as they become available. Cremation arrangements were made through Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville.
