Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, next to her husband of 55 years Gary Hutchinson.

Gloria Jean Hutchinson, age 82, left this earth to be with the Lord on January 24, 2021.
Those left to cherish her memory include sons Steve and wife Angie Hutchinson of Many, Kevin and his wife Shawn Hutchinson of Ball, Granddaughters Haley Simpson (Cole) and Lacey Hutchinson, and numerous Nieces, Nephews, and lifelong friends.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Gary Hutchinson, parents John Kitterlin Sr. and Ruby Elizabeth Kitterlin, one sister, Vernie Wright, and two brothers, John “Buster” Kitterlin Jr., and Lyndal Kitterlin.

Jean was born and raised in Jena Louisiana, and graduated from Jena High School. An interesting tidbit of her schooling was that from K-12, she had perfect attendance!!
She enjoyed collecting antique glassware, and loved to visit antique shops and flea markets.

She was a longtime member of Kingsville Baptist church, had many friends in the community, and was loved by all that knew her. As a loving mother, wife, and grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her family, and friends her entire life. Jean especially loved decorating the house for the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.

She worked a variety of jobs in her life from switchboard operator, to flower shop helper, but found her calling helping Gary in the gun business. She so enjoyed running down the different guns to sell at the gun shows on the weekends, and when Gary was primarily working on guns, she was a master stock and forearm re-finisher.

Pallbearers will be Mike Kitterlin, Darryle Kitterlin, Derek Kitterlin, Don Mercer, Marc Mercer, Mike Mccarroll.

The family would like to thank the caretakers and nurses at Tioga Community Care Center for taking such good care of our mother.

She will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
