Mrs. Adeline Whitcher
Mrs. Adeline A. Whitcher, 75 years of age, passed away early today at her home at 11006 Hesby street, North Hollywood. She was a native of Iowa, but came to California with her husband 56 years ago, in a covered wagon. Most of those years were spent in the San Fernando valley, although when they first arrived, there were but few settlements.

Mr. Whitcher was an early stage coach driver, and his family frequently moved. They had been living at their present address for the past two and a half years. Besides her husband, S.E. Whitcher, the deceased leaves five daughters, Mrs. Emma Baldridge of Los Angeles; Mrs. Amelia Newman of Colorado; Mrs. Flora Pugh of Soledad; Mrs. Edna Klindt of Iowa; Mrs. Florence Bancroft of North Hollywood; and three sons, W.C., of Iowa, John L. and R.H. of Los Angeles.

Funeral arrangements are being made by A.C. Fillbach. (Burbank Daily Evening Review, Burbank, CA, June 10, 1932)
