Son of Martin and Gail (White) Arbes.

Paul M. Arbes, 38, Linn, died June 15, 1999, in Linn.

He was born Dec. 25, 1960, in Jefferson City, a son of Martin A. and Gail White Arbes, who survive at the home.

He was a 1979 graduate of Linn High School, and a graduate of Kansas City Auctioneering School. He owned and operated Paul Arbes Auctioneering and Hauling Service, Linn. He also worked for Pony Express Couriers, Columbia, and AAA Mailing. He was a member of St. George Church, Linn.

Other survivors include: one brother, Darin W. Arbes, Bonnots Mill; one sister, Marla M. Nilges, Jefferson City; and maternal grandmother Delpha White , Linn.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. George Church. The Rev. Paul Hartley will officiate. Burial will be in St. George Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn, with a prayer service at 7 p.m
