Josephine Wilhoit 102, Greensburg, Indiana passed away Thursday October 11, 2007 at the Morning Breeze Nursing Home Greensburg. She was born May 6, 1905 in New Palestine, Indiana, the daughter of Joseph Henry & Elizabeth (Wilkens) Vernon.

She graduated High School in 1923, and also attended Taylor University. She was a Seamstress & Clerk for Racine Shirt Factory, as well as Carol Cook Dress Factory. She was also a Midwife and a licensed minister. She was also a member of the Wesleyn Church in Greensburg.

She married George J. Wilhoit on September 9, 1926 and he preceded her in death in August 1958. She is survived by One Son: Don Wilhoit Greensburg, One Granddaughter: Donna Niehoff of Batesville, IN. Three Great Grandchildren: Ben Niehoff of Bloomington, IN., Angie Delvecchio of Oxford, OH., & Carrie Sander of Tampa, FL. Seven Great Great Grandchildren: Alexandria & Austin Niehoff; Sydney Clark; Rian, Kieran, & Finley Delvecchio & Josephine Sander.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George, Two Brothers: Earl & Elmer Vernon; and Seven Sisters: Alice Marone, Molly Gebbart, Bertha Horton, Nellie Allee, Elsie Alexander, Irene Schlosser & Venus Bennett.
