Mrs. Eliza R. Rodney, the wife of the late George B. Rodney, died at her home in New Castle on Sunday morning, aged 63 years. Mrs. Rodney, nee Taylor, of Philadelphia, was the second wife of George B. Rodney, and was the stepmother of John H. Rodney, Esq. Two grown daughters survive the mother. The deceased was stricken with paralysis some time ago and her death was the result of a natural decline from that moment. The funeral will take place tomorrow at 1:30 p.m., when services will be held in Immanuel Church, New Castle. (See 17 Jan 1888, "The Morning News," Wilmington, Del., Tues., pg. 3.)
