A Celebration of Larry’s life will take place on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Private family burial will follow at a later date.
Larry was born January 23, 1953 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to James and Charlotte (Sonnenberg) Anacker.
He was employed at Ore-Ida as a boiler and refrigeration tech until the time of his retirement.
Larry had a true passion and love for classic cars, whether he was wrenching on his Chevelle or attending a car show it was always in his heart. He was a member of the local Wisconsin Rapids "Creepers" car club. He also enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan never to miss a game. Dad was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends, he will sadly be missed and never forgotten.
Larry is survived by his children: Bill (Renae) Anacker, Jamie Knetter, Brian (Jesse) Anacker; grandchildren: Sarah Watson, Kole (Brandy) Knetter, Karson Knetter; great grandchild, Margot Olson Anacker; siblings: Paul (Star) Anacker and Peg (Russ) Brody; special friend, Diane Meils; and K-9 Companion, Rocky. He is preceded in death by parents, James and Charlotte Anacker.
