Southside - A graveside memorial service will be at a later date at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Southside, AL for Mr. Anthony Brent Phillips, age 68, of Southside, who died on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Jason Ellen will officiate. Williams-Southside Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Phillips was a member of Cross Point Sunday School and was a student at Snellgrove Civitan Center for many years. He loved movies of all kinds, he loved to do crossword puzzles and loved to worship the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Geraldine Phillips; brothers, Donnie and Terry Phillips; sister, Scarlett McClendon; and brothers-in-law, Jimmie "Mo" Williams and Larry McClendon.
He is survived by his sister, Cindy Williams; brothers, Ronnie (Judy) Phillips, Bruce (Patsy) Phillips and Steven Phillips and many special nieces and nephews.
