Robert Condon Fennessey Jr

Robert Condon Fennessey Jr died Wednesday, April 20, 1994, of heart failure at Union Hospital, in Elkton MD.

Bob retired in 1976 from the DuPont Co., where he was an accountant for 27 years in the finance department. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a captain in the 374th Finance Unit, Army Reserve. He received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Saint Joseph's University, in Philadelphia PA.

Bob was a member of Knights of Columbus, Third Degree Knights, Wilmington, and Golden Hawks Alumni Group of Saint Joseph's University.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Patricia J (née Rounds) Fennessey; and two daughters, Patricia L Fennessey and Elizabeth A Fennessey, both at home.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, April 23, 1994, at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, in Elkton MD. Interment followed at Saint Josephs on the Brandywine Cemetery, in Wilmington DE.
