Rev. Richard W. Sievers, 75, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in Fort Wayne to the late Elmer C. Sievers and A. Gertrude (Tharp) Blanchard.
He married Mary "Cheryleen" on January 11, 1963 and she preceded him in death on January 4, 2021. Rev. Richard was the Allen County Jail Chaplain for 23 years and was a member of Grace Christian Church.
Surviving are his children, Brian (Mary) Sievers, Tom (Dawn) Sievers and Mike (Missy) Sievers; grandchildren, Mason, Emily, Mara, Sarah, Heather, Katie, Sarah, Lindsey, Hailee, Nathan, Shelby, Chase, Ashley, and Nick; great-grandchildren, Jedidiah, Chloe, Lillie, Zayden, Mikko, Ricky, Shyanne, Elijah, Gracie, Christian, Ricky, Russell, Robert, Reba and one on the way, Penelope; and siblings, Steven Michael Ferguson, Linnidee (Mike) Dean, and Debbie Taylor.
Richard was also preceded in death by her son, Ricky Sievers; and brother, Larry Sievers.
