Donald J. Abair, 82 currently of Palm Harbor Florida, formerly of Plymouth MA and Milford CT died on January 12, 2021 at Harbor Chase of Palm Harbor.

Mr. Abair was born in Springfield, MA on October 25, 1938 , son of Urban Abair and Mary DiPasqua Abair. He was predeceased by his sister Judith Abair Dearborn. He was married to his wife Nancy Noel Abair. He graduated from Ludlow High School in 1956 and graduated from Hartford College of Accounting. At the time of his retirement, he was employed as the Business Manager at the Area Ageny on Aging in New Haven, Connecticut after many years as a Retail Manager at WTGrant Company and Loehmann’s. He had served in the Army Reserves. He and his wife relocated to Palm Harbor, Fl in 2018. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Nancy, several nieces nephews and grand nephews and many friends.

A Mass of celebration will be held at St Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 10 a.m. A private family burial will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, in Springfield, MA. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Donald’s name to Suncoast Hospice
