William Edward King died this morning at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. James R. Moore, of 406 West Monroe, where he had lived for the past three years. 1Ie was 83.
Services will be held at 2 Wednesday afternoon at the Poplar Creek Nations Baptist Church near Kilmichael. The Rev. Jack Cross will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Oliver Funeral Home of Winona in charge.
Born at Poplar Creek, Mr. King was a retired farmer.
He leaves two sons, Lawrence King and Walter King, both of Winona, and three other daughters, Mrs. J. E. Black of Poplar Creek, Mrs. T. S. Austin of Greenwood and Mrs. M. B. McKinney of Central America.
Nephews of Mr. King will act as pallbearers.
