CLEVELAND - Mrs. Mable Dendy Dendy, 89, died Monday at Bolivar County Hospital. Services are 2 p.m. today at Huntsville Church of Christ near French Camp with burial in the church cemetery. Thweatt-King Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Dendy was born in Choctaw County where she attended school. She married William Larkin Dendy in Hodge, La., on Nov. 4, 1917. They had lived in Choctaw County before moving to Cleveland in 1970. He died in 1974. She was a member of Cleveland Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Lois Griffin of Cleveland, Mrs. Wannie McCarley of Helena, Ark., and Mrs. Hazel Goode of Memphis, Tenn.; son, Wallace L. Dendy of Laurel, Md.; brother, Waco Dendy of Kosciusko; and a seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
