Billie Rose Allen, 85, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri passed away March 27, 2015.

Billie was born December 31, 1929 to Charles and Zella (Thomas) VanPelt in Millville, Missouri. On June 26, 1949, she married Clifford Allen. Billie worked for many years in the catalog department of J. C. Penny in Excelsior Springs. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Excelsior Springs. Billie and Clifford had a great love for traveling. They had visited Hawaii fifteen times, and had given each of their five grandchildren a chance to travel with them. On their 50 wedding anniversary, Billie and Clifford took the whole family to Maui.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, husband and eight siblings.

Survivors include her daughters, Rose Lee and Danny Winders, and Sherry Marcell and fiance Donn Einerson; grandchildren; Shannon, Melissa Ashley, Eric, and Tasha (Kurt); great grandchildren; Catcher, Tyson, Ryker, Salem Rose; and sisters, Waneta Hatfield and Charlene Hogan.

Billie will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cremation, A celebration of Life Service will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Boss & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, MO
