Wanda "Polly" Pauline Ohl (nee Wimberly), of Maryland Heights, MO, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late James I. Ohl; cherished daughter of the late Alfred Abraham and Nell Rebecca Wimberly; devoted mother of Linda Unterreiner, James E. (Donna) Ohl, the late Wanda M. (Michael survives) Hutchinson, and the late Rebecca L. Brown; loving grandmother of Heidi (Jordan) Adams, Adam (Erin) Hutchinson, Heather (Ralph) Pope, and Zachary Ohl; treasured great-grandmother of Madeline Hutchinson, Ava Hutchinson, Brook Adams, and Brock Adams; dear sister of the late Dudley D. Wimberly, Johnny A. Wimberly, H. Roger W. Wimberly, Dorothy R. Falkenbury, Agnes E. Donoho, Nancy A. Allison, and Mary Ann Roberts.
Wanda was a devoted member of First Assembly Church for over 50 years. She was very involved in their church choir, the Missionettes, Secret Sisters' Group and XYZ ministries. Wanda enjoyed reading and often studied the bible. She was a talented seamstress and had a great eye for new patterns or designs through her embroidery and needle work. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother who truly cherished her family. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
