MRS. HUNTINGTON BEARD DEAD.
She Was Sixty-three Years Old and Prominent in Charity Work.
Fayetteville, July 10 - Mrs. Sarah Hale Beard died at her home at 4 o'clock this morning, aged 63 years. About twenty-five years ago she was married to Huntington Beard, who died about three years ago. Mrs. Beard is survived by an adopted daughter, Miss Emma Beard. For some years past, the deceased had been in ill health and her death was caused by a general failing of the physical powers. She was a woman of great liberality and to the Presbyterian church and society she has given substantial proofs of her devotion to them. The arrangements for the funeral have not yet been made.
