Edmond Nicholas Airhart, 90, of 820 Sixth Street, died at 8:20 a.m. today in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Creel Cemetery (Barnes Creek) in Bel, LA with the Hixson Funeral Home in charge.
The Rev. Seth Baggett will officiate. Mr. Airhart, a native of Nacodoches, TX (note: should be Natchitoches, LA), had lived in Lake Charles for 56 years. He was a retired building contractor.
Survivors are his wife, Ida; one son, Allen Airhart of Lake Charles, and 6 grandchildren.
