Bradley DeRoi Venable, a resident of Glendale, California, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the age of 43. Brad was born on Saturday, July 16. 1977 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Terry and Debby Venable. Brad grew up in Checotah, Oklahoma and graduated from Checotah High School with honors in 1995. After graduation Brad attended University of Tulsa on a full ride in academics and vocal music. While attending University of Tulsa Brad was also a member of the Tulsa Opera. Brad also attended Northeastern State College here he participated in plays and formed more friendships. He later met Kathryn and was married to the love of his life on October 23, 2010 in Dallas, Texas. They moved from Dallas to Glendale, California, so Brad could pursue his already budding career in the Voice Over acting. Brad was able to follow his dreams of putting his voice to multiple characters in video games like Final Fantasy VII and Devil May Cry 5, anime cartoons, commercials like Blue Moon Light Sky, and motion pictures Venom and Pokémon Detective Pikachu to name a few of his many accomplishments. Brad enjoyed time spent with family, friends, and his Katie. His big bear hugs meant the world to all who loved and knew him. Brad had an array of talents and hobbies he enjoyed sharing with others. Brad was an advocate for others in the Voice Over community. His legacy will live on in his friends, family, and many characters he voiced in his career. Brad was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Betty Humphrey and James and Joan Venable; his cousin, Ryan Rippy, and his uncle, Tom Pipe. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Kathryn Venable; his parents, Terry and Debby Venable of Checotah; his sister, Andrea Davis and her husband Josh of Checotah; his nieces, Madison and Alexis Davis; and his in laws, Roger and Marcy Oliver of Pueblo, Mexico. Brad is also survived by his brother-in-law, Bud Oliver of Glendale, CA; his aunts, Sherry Rippy of Eufaula, OK, Kathy Pipe of Muskogee, OK, and Holly Branch and her husband, Don of Weatherford, TX as well as many cousins other extended family and a lifetime of friends.
