Jace W. Allen, the son of Cecil Keith & Nedda Jean (Jensen) Allen, was born on January 11, 1972, in Topeka, Kansas. He grew up in Scandia, and graduated from Pike Valley High School, class of 1990. He was married to Marci Allen on August 15, 2013, in Scandia.

Jace enjoyed working as an over the road semi truck driver, last working for Schmidt’s Inc. of Fairbury.

Jace passed away on January 13, 2021, in Concordia, just two days after his 49th birthday.

He is preceded in death by his father.

He will be forever cherished and greatly missed by his wife Marci, his daughter Felicia O’Neil and her husband Devan of Superior, stepchildren Kelsi Zamrzla and her husband Riley of Wilson, Kansas, Kara Hays of Concordia, Kileigh Glessner and Brogan Glessner of Gypsum, Kansas, grandchildren, Kash & Kinzlee O’Neil and Chiles & James Zamrzla. Jace is also survived by his mother Jean of Scandia, sister Berdina Frye and her husband Troy of Belleville, his mother and father in law, John & Patty Pillard of Salina, nieces, nephews, and a community of friends.

Cremation was chosen, with Memorial Services to be held later this spring. Memorials are requested to the family, and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
