Leona Florence Bohn was born on May 16th, 1925 in St Paul, Minnesota, daughter of Arthur William Bohn Sr. and Florence Lissa Linnea (Johnson) Bohn. She married US Army veteran Robert Driggs Loomis, and they made their home first in St Paul, Minnesota, and in the mid-1950s they relocated to Monrovia, California. They had four children: Susan, Timothy, Colleen, and Sharon. Her husband, Robert, worked as a plumber. They eventually relocated to San Diego. Robert passed away in 1998. Leona died in San Diego on March 22nd, 2018, and she was interred with her husband in Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego.
Leona was preceded in death by her parents; her five siblings, LeRoy Arthur "Bud" Bohn, Milton Harvey Bohn, Gerald Edwin Bohn, Arthur William Bohn Jr., and Marlys Florine Bohn; her husband, Robert; and her son Timothy in 2008. Leona is survived her daughters, Sue Williams of Queen Creek, Arizona, Colleen Sekol of Lakeside, California, and Sharon Griffin of Lakeside, California; several grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
