He was preceded in death by his wife Ada Cupp and a son David Cupp.
Survivors include his son, Paul Vernon Cupp Jr., of Richmond; his daughter, Janice Stamper and husband Ray of Dayton, Ohio; his son, Robert Danny Cupp of San Jose, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Mildred Cupp of Perry, Iowa, all who mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2011, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Fugitt officiating. Burial will follow in Hart Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted by the D.A.V. Chapters 158 and 66. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1 p.m. on Friday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
