Mr. Hugh Frank DeLoach, 79, known to his family and friends as Frank, passed away Monday, January 13, 2015 at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian. Frank was born in Jesup, Georgia where he grew up on the family farm.
After completing high school, he entered the military joining the US Marine Corp during the Korean War. After his military service, Frank went to work for AT & T, which became Lucent Technologies, and he retired as the Southeast Regional Cellsite Manager.
When he retired 20 years ago, Frank moved from North Miami to Micco, Florida. In Micco he became an active member of the Micco Community Church and the Micco Moose Lodge. Even with a great fondness for golf, Frank always kept his spiritual life and family in the forefront. A perspective that served him well in life.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years Elise L. DeLoach of Micco, daughter Debra DeLoach (David) Gray of Palm Bay, sons David (Laurie) DeLoach of Old Fort, North Carolina and Daniel (Marilyn) DeLoach of Bozeman, Montana, grandson Charlie (Wendy) Fisher of Palm Bay, granddaughter Taylor Gray of Ocala, and a sister Mary Blanche of Newburg, Indiana Memorial contributions may be made to Micco Community Church, 9390 Central Avenue, Micco, FL 32976 A Life Celebration for Frank will begin at 2:30 PM, Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the Micco Community Church with military honors conducted by the Sebastian Area Veterans' Honor Guard.
