20 Oct 1788, obituary: "---At Mansfield, the 9th inst. in the 92d year of her age, Mrs. ANN DIMMICK, widow of Mr. Timothy Dimmick, a wealthy farmer and worthy member of society in that place. From here have descended a numerous posterity.---9 children---60 grand children---90 great grand children, and 7 great grand children's children, total 166. She was a faithful wife, a tender and affectionate mother.--A comfortable hope that she had chosen the beter part---that she resigned her soul into the arms of her divine Redeemer, and sleeps in jesus, affords her children and numerous friends a reviving consideration. Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord." (4)
