Surviving are two sons David Aungst and wife Jean of Claysburg and Darryl and wife Jody of Tyrone. four grandchildren Matt, Rebecca, Corey and Samantha and Tiffanie Weyant, who was like a granddaughter, three great grandchildren Ryker, Amelia and Addy and four brothers Robert “Rip”, Wilbur “Buck”, Donald and Arthur Helsel. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Kristen Aungst, sisters Josephine Smith and Carol Ann Calderwood and a brother Ross “Catfish” Helsel.
Mary was a member of Grace Fellowship – Leamersville Campus and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church, Claysburg. She was a 1960 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School.
Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, shopping, going to Legion baseball games and attending all of her grandchildren’s events.
