GARMON, Charlies A.
(Age 46) – of Medical lake, WA, died at his home with family. Tuesday, July 29, 2003, after a year long battle with cancer. Born in Miami, Florida on June 24, 1957. He moved to the Spokane area in 1971. Charlie is a graduate of Medical Lake High School class of 1975. He lettered in football, basketball and baseball. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. In 1977, Charlie went active duty in the U. S. Air Force, where he served over 17 years as a fireman. He retired in 1995 and moved back to Medical lake, where he has worked for PVTC d.b.a. Arisan Landscaping for Fairchild A.F.B. As Grounds Supervisor. Charlie took great enjoyment in life with friends and family, camping, fishing, boating, and skiing as well as taking an active role playing for the West Plains softball and basketball leagues. Charlie is survived by by his wife, Tami Milligan-Garmon; two sons, Charles G. Garmon of the U.S. Army, Maryland, and Aaron Garmon of Alamogordo, NM; three stepchildren, Sara A Milligan of Anchorage, AK, Joshua Stark, of Medical Lake, Amber Dalen of Albuquerque, NM; his parents, Grady and Betty Garmon, of Medical Lake, siblings, David Garmon of Airway Heights, WA, Debra and her husband Jon Larawy of Hood River, OR, Ed and his wife, De'laine Garmon of Otis Orchards, WA, four nieces and nephews, four grandchildren and numerous friends, Charlie lived large. We would like that knew us, to join us in a celebration of his life at Waterfront Park in Medical Lake, Sunday, August 3rd, at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please bring a covered dish and come celebrate in his memory. An Honor Guard Internment will be held Saturday, August 9th, at 10:00 am at Fort George Wright Cemetery in Spokane. friends, Charlie lived large. We would like that knew us, to join us in a celebration of his life at Waterfront Park in Medical Lake, Sunday, August 3rd, at 4:00 pm.
