She was born on December 15, 1933, in the Town of Rhine, WI, a daughter of the late Edwin and Laura (Wimmler) Klemme.
She attended county schools and graduated from Dye Road School.
On June 26, 1954, she married Arnold Kleinhans at Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth. The couple made Plymouth their home all their married life with the exception of a seven month stay in Texas Temple, TX. Her husband preceded her in death on January 8, 2013.
Gloria worked in canning factories in Sheboygan, Waldo, Random Lake and Belgium until she went to work for Clevepak. She worked at Clevepak Corporation over 18 years, retiring in 1989.
She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth.
Gloria is survived by her two daughters and one son: Judy (Vincent) Lancianese of Silver Plume, CO, Sara Brown of Evansville, IN, Ronald (Angie) Kleinhans of Plymouth; son-in-law: Dale Sippel of Glenbeulah; ten grandchildren: Cassie Reeves, Robert Scheibl, Nathan, Grant, and Samantha Sippel, Leila, Rachel, Alexis, Jean Brown and Jesse Rodriguez; two great-grandchildren: A.J. and April; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother: Franklin (Virgina) Klemme of Plymouth; one sister; Luella Gau of Tennessee; cousin: Faye (Jim) Hughes of Plymouth; and special friend: Roxane Raab of Plymouth.
She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two daughters: Carol Scheibl and Esther Sippel; two sisters: Roma Theel and Katherine (Harvey) Meives; three brothers: Harris (Delores) Klemme, Milton (Ruth) Klemme, Harold (Shirley) Klemme; brothers-in-law: Merlin Kleinhans, Harold (Florence) Kleinhans, and Willard Kleinhans; and sister-in-law: Gloria Kleinhans.
Private Funeral Services will be held. Rev. James Hoppert, Pastor of the church will officiate. Entombment will take place in the Garden of Peace Mausoleum in the Town of Sheboygan.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been set up in Gloria's name for Salem United Church of Christ.
