Mrs. Mary Marlene Teresa Colson of Corinth, KY. passed away Saturday, January 9 at her residence at the age of 69. Mrs. Colson was born June 26, 1951 in Covington, KY. to the late Thomas Lee Covington and Ruth Kampsen Covington. Mrs. Colson was a retired insurance agent with the Progressive Insurance Company and a member of the Williamstown Christian Church. Mrs. Colson loved birds, all types of flowers and all four seasons but especially enjoyed winter and snow. Mrs. Colson is most fondly remembered by her family for her love of her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Colson was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas Lee Covington and Ruth Kampsen Covington. She was also preceded in death by sisters: Carolyn Whelen, Joyce Steffen and Nancy Covington.
On October 31, 2004 Mary was united in marriage to Otha Robin Colson and she is survived by her husband of 16 years. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Colson is survived by 2 daughters: Jamie Montgomery and her husband James of Crittenden, KY., Cheyanne Kushnirenko and her husband Artur of Georgetown, KY., 2 sons: Robert W. Egloff and his wife Cynthia of Highland Heights, KY., Thomas A. Egloff of Walton, KY., 3 sisters: Diana Doll of Union, KY., Leeann Gamm of Covington, KY., Janice Jaber of Cincinnati, OH. She has 12 grandchildren: Robert and Lydia Egloff, Cody, Tyler and Macey Egloff, Jacob and Jaylen Hamilton, Carson and Austin Montgomery, Dexter, Violet Mendola and Anastasia Kushnirenko.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Marlene Teresa Colson will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, January 14 in the chapel of the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main Street, Williamstown, KY. 41097 with Rev. Gene Hill officiating. Visitation will also be on Thursday, January 14 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery, Corinth.
