Munday Wright was born on December 5, 1929 in Concord, North Carolina. She passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 91.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover Cleveland Munday and Ella Arthurs Munday, son Larry Wright, and grandson Aaron Thrasher. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Manly Munday and Robert Munday, and sisters Faye Harrington, Verlie Sherrill, and Virginia Rodgers.
She is survived by her children, Jeff Murphy, Jo Williams, Dan Wright (Janice), and Griffin Wright. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Munday was a graduate of Winecoff High School, Concord, NC and Queens Business School, Charlotte, NC. She was a longtime resident of Madison, AL and a member of First Baptist Church, Madison, AL.
Munday was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She was an avid gardener, who enjoyed cooking meals for her family and telling family stories. Later in life she became a realtor in Madison, a career that she enjoyed very much.

A private graveside service will be held for the family at Madison Memory Cemetery.
