Ronald G. Bullen

Ronald G. Bullen passed away peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital on Friday, January 8th,. He was the son of Walter and Ruth (Titus) Bullen, born on August 29, 1931 in Utica, New York.

Ron served honorably in the United States Marine Corps. He worked for Dunlop, St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, and as an independent painter until he retired after a fall. He then pursued his love of antiques and home restoration. He was especially proud of the home in Newport that hosted many family holiday celebrations. He was an ordained Elder of the Presbyterian Church. He studied music and art at Munson Williams Art Institute. He loved painting in oil, “as the masters did”. He enjoyed travel especially his cruise to Italy and frequent winters in the Flagler Beach area of Florida. He enjoyed going to Eddies for fish fry.

Ron is survived by his brother Robert Bullen of Schuyler, NY and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; eight sisters; Lillie R. Cieslak, Doris Smith, Ann M. Kopyt, Betty Elsenbeck, Edith C. Baker, Bea C. Agnew, Kay K. Temple, Evelyn Jones and two brothers; Richard and Thomas Bullen.

Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
