Adelle Bissonette, 89, who came to Santa Cruz in 1921, died yesterday at her home after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held from White's chapel Wednesday at 8:30 a.m., thence to St. Joseph's Catholic church in Capitola where a requiem mass will be offered for the repose of her soul, commencing at 9 o'clock. Interment will be in Mount Calvary cemetery, Aptos.

Rosary will be recited in White's chapel tomorrow night at 7:30 o'clock.

A devout member of St. Joseph's church, Mrs. Bissonette was a native of Wisconsin. She moved to Canada after her marriage to Anthony Bissonette. They later moved to St. Paul, Minn., and came to California in 1918 and settled in Salida.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Cecelia Lumpkins of Santa Cruz; a sister, Gus Grevelle of Santa Cruz; also 21 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Mary Louise Pike and Everett Bissonette.
