Mrs. Doris Mae Ambuehl, 49, 1521 Clark Ave., Granite City, died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in The Queenie Towers Hospital in St. Louis where she had been a patient for about one week. She had been ill for several months.
Mrs. Ambuehl and her husband, Adelbert Ambuehl, Sr., who survives, are former Edwardsville residents.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Ambuehl is survived by two sons, Adelbert Jr. and Richard, both married and living in Granite City, her mother, Mrs. Eric (Nell) Radford of St. James, Mo., and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Pieper Funeral Home in Granite City after 2 p.m. today and until the time of the funeral at 1 p.m. Saturday which will also be held in the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery near Edwardsville.
