Albin, 98, of Arlington Heights, formerly of Wisconsin was born October 6, 1913 in Chicago to the late John and Anna (nee Lichon) Sobon and passed away May 6, 2012 at Manor Care Nursing Center in Rolling Meadows. Emily was the beloved wife of the late Walter Albin who she married in 1937; loving mother of William W. Albin, Madeleine L. (late Michael) Volpa and Sally J. Merkel; grandmother of 10, great grandmother of 19 and the dear sister of Lorraine Evans, Bernadine Quartetti, George Sobon and Bernard (Lorraine) Sobon. She was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters. Graveside service and interment will be held Thursday May 10, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Kewaunee, WI.
