Cedda Myrtle Choat passed away on October 7, 2007, in Edmond, OK; she was 81 years old. A faithful Christian, she devoted 10 years of service to Hotel Dieu and gave selflessly to numerous international charities. She was born in Chittagong, India to Edmund and Margaret Rebeiro on January 8, 1926. Cedda resided in El Paso for 48 years. She is preceded in death by her husband MSG Burtis Choat of nearly 50 years; brothers Jossie and Patrick Rebeiro; and sister Ivy Whelpdale. She is survived by her children Linda Lofton (daughter), Terry Choat (son), and Judy Willis (daughter); granddaughters, Brandilyn Stigler, Mandilyn Matthews, and Jacquelyn Matthews; great-granddaughter, Haven Baker; brothers Raymond and Terry Rebeiro; and sister Diana Austin. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 10, 2007 from 5pm to 8pm at Kaster-Maxon Futrell Funeral Home, 8817 Dyer. Graveside service will be on Thursday, October 11, 2007, at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. SERVICE ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN ENTRUSTED TO THE CARE OF KASTER-MAXON & FUTRELL FUNERAL HOME, 8817 DYER STREET.
