Louine A. Smith, 96, formerly of Spencerville, passed away January 1, 2021 at Burton Ridge Assisted Living where she had resided 6 and a half years .
She was born on June 10, 1924 in Lima, a daughter of the late Samuel Irving and Ella Mae Reed Binkley. She was one of ten children; Jollie, Harmon, Virgil, Virginia, Billy, Barbara, Gloria, Betty, all deceased, and Janet Winings, who survives in Texas.
On March 14, 1942 she married Howard W. Smith, who passed away March 5, 1997. On June 3,
2017 she was committed to David Jarvis, who survives at Burton’s Ridge.
Together Howard and Louine had 4 children; Diana(Ab Mobasher)Wesley of Portland OR., David(Pam)Smith of Spencerville and Brian(Joy) Smith of Toledo. Their son Gail Smith is deceased.
There are 10 grandchildren. Douglas Bay, Patrick Abbey, Micah(Liz)Bay, Jeremiah(Cammi)Bay
