Harlan “Ray” Ratliff, of Cottonwood Lane, Jeffersonville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 in Frenchburg,KY at the age of 75. He was born May 10, 1945 in Pikeville, Kentucky to Harry and Opal Adkins Ratliff. He was a retired coal miner. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Opal Adkins Ratliff, wife, Nell Ruth Justice Ratliff, six great-grandchildren, one sister and three brothers.

Surviving are three daughters, Virginia Eichstadt (Bob) of Jeffersonville,KY. Dianna Damron (Keith) of Afton,TN., and Zanna Hensley (Billy) of Frenchburg,KY. Two sons, Johnny Ratliff and Steve Ratliff both of Wellington,KY. Three sisters, Joan Epling of Pikeville,KY. Marie Chapman of Racoon,KY. Mary Shumate of Mt. Sterling,KY. Three brothers, Simon Ratliff of Virgie,KY, John Ratliff of Shelbiana,KY and Harry Glen Ratliff of Racoon,KY. 15 grandchildren and 23 great -grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 7:00pm, Sunday, January 10,2021 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Bro. Rick Back officiating. Interment in Shotgun Hollow Cemetery, Frenchburg, KY. Visitation will be 6:00pm, Sunday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY with Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.

COVID-19 regulations will be followed as set forth by Governor Beshear and the CDC. The family request that visitors respect their desire to keep everyone safe by practicing social distancing guidelines and to wear a face covering of some sort.
