I have yet to locate a burial place But all information points to Walton Co. and Thompson Family Cemetery and because the Thompson Family has so many family members buried there. I feel sure he could also be there. I would like to give him a final resting place.
I have 13 children for John and Mary Polly.
David Evans, Elisha, Frederick, Martha Ann, Mary Polly, Sarah M., Elizabeth P., Candace, Joseph S., James Bascom, Huldah, Hillard, Ellender.
So far I have record of 5 sons serving in the Civil War. All survived except Hillard.
4 son-in-laws. Gideon Hendricks, Landy Braswell, William Ridgeway, Reuben Smith Harrison. Reuben did not survive.
