Today, the greatest generation lost one of its own Warner Adams of Short Pump, departed this life, January 5, peacefully at home, surrounded by his large loving family. Warner was preceded in death by the love of his wife, Lois Katherine and his son Jerry Wayne. Warner is survived by six children, daughters, Priscilla, Wanda, and their families, sons, Calvin, Gary, Preston, Stevie, and their families. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Warner served in the Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater. Those who knew Warner knew he loved spending time with his family. He loved fishing with his boys, music, dancing, talking with his friends, and he loved his adventures with his daughters. He lived, loved, and enjoyed life to the fullest. He truly was the richest man many people ever knew. He will be missed by so many. Private family graveside service Saturday January 9, 2021 in Berea Baptist Church Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 24 at 1077 Crewsville Road, Bumpass, Va. 23034.
