Ernest F. Boling, 70, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 5, 2021 at home, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 17, 1950 in Spencer, IN to the late Lavina (Biddle) and Ernest L. Boling.

Ernest proudly served his country during Vietnam in the U.S. Air Force. Ernest worked in maintenance at the Carrier Corporation for 35 years until his retirement in 2012. He was a member of the American Legion Post #64 and the Outreach Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing and riding motorcycles. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Ida Boling; and a brother, Russell Boling.

He is survived by two son; two brothers; two sisters; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 4-8 PM at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in Splinter Ridge Cemetery in Patricksburg, IN on Saturday at 1:00 PM.
