Washburn; a son Dean Washburn; three daughters Sally Washburn, Annie Washburn and Cookie Lovely & her husband Jon all of Ogdensburg; two sisters Linda Carroll of Zephyrhills, FL and Colleen Kentner of Waddington; five grandchildren Natalie & Trent Lovely, Nate Angel, Mariah Hurst & Hannah Washburn.
Cindy was born on November 16, 1950 in Ogdensburg, a daughter of the late Frank & Virginia (Breen) Groulx. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and later married Wayne L. Washburn on Sept 11, 1971.
During her career she was employed at Newell Manufacturing, Standard Shade Roller, Claxton Hepburn Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Nursing Home.
Cindy was a member of the Ogdensburg Moose Lodge, Knights of Columbus and the Ogdensburg Women’s Bowling League. She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, socializing, cooking and spending time with her loving family.
Her place of rest will be at Foxwood Memorial Park.
