In 2010, she was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's and we moved to Plano, TX, the following year. After living at Auberge at Plano, memory care facility, for over two years, she was healed and transitioned, peacefully, to eternity with her husband at her side on December 28. 2020.
Mary Sue is survived by her husband, Carol Cato, daughter, Stacy Trujillo, son and wife, Scott and Crystal Cato, granddaughter, Cheyanne Mahaffey and husband, Seth, granddaughter, Lauren Cato, and grandson, Grant Cato and grandson, Grant Cato, sister in law, Mary K Cato of Ft Worth, Nancy Brooks of Houston, as well as 3 nephews, 2 nieces and their families.
The family asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to alz.org.
Celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM on January 8, 2021, in the Faith Chapel of Prestonwood Baptist Church, located at 6801 W Park Blvd, Plano, TX, 75093
