Mrs. William B. Seifert, age 62, of rural route
No. 1, Mishawaka, and a lifelong resident of Madison township, Indiana, died in her home Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock, after a, three weeks' illness with complications. She was born in Madison; township Feb. 26, 1865 to Daniel Jewell and Mary (Allen)(Avery)Jewell.

She was married to William B. Seifert as Mary Jewel, March 18, 1883, in Madison township. Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Claude Seifert, of Madison township, a grandson, a great-granddaughter, and two half brothers, William Jewel, of Dowagiac, Mich., and Milo Avery, of Mishawaka.

Funeral services for Mrs. William B. Seifert, of rural route no. 1, Mishawaka were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Tamarack Methodist Episcopal church. Burial was in Bowman cemetery, South Bend
