Marguerette, age 90, passed away at Windsor Place Nursing Home in Coffeyville. She was the daughter of Clyde Hershal and Edna Eugenia (Wood) House. She graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School in 1947 and Coffeyville Community Junior College with an associate of arts degree in 1982. She married Dean Howard Powell on September 19, 1948, at Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church in Coffeyville. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her daughter, Linda Sjolander. She is survived by her sons, Roger Powell and Duane Powell, her siblings, Marlene Hillman, Marilyn Meek, and Duane House, 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel. Burial was in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
