Opal J. Dancey, age 89, of Cleveland, passed away June 8, 2020. She was born in Boone, NC, on October 30, 1930, to the late Arden and Floy Wilcox. She was a proud and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who will be greatly missed by many. Her greatest joy and source of great pride was her family. Over the years she was a Mom figure to many, and she enjoyed sharing her love of cooking with everyone. Opal is survived by her children Barb (John) Reeble , Carolyn Watson, Bill Dancey (Vickie Stevanus) and Janie (Chuck) Teter, grandchildren Mark Lambert, Jean Lambert, Carolee (Jimmy) Hauer, Cathy Peck, Barbie (Josh) Tumbry, JB (Michelle) Watson, Bill (Crystal)Watson, Jerry Watson, Pauline (Ron) Smith, Robin (Paul) Voss, Molly (Nick) Paul, Sandy (Steve) Kish, Raymond Anderson, Tammy Anderson and Eddie Anderson, and many great-grandchildren, siblings Sue Reece, Junior Wilcox, Billy Wilcox, Butch Wilcox and Bobbi Wilcox. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Burnie Dancey, daughter Bonnie Anderson, son-in-law Paul Watson, sister Ruth Wilcox and brother James Wilcox.
