• MARIETTA -- Services for Vena Lou Eva Northcutt, 90, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Caro officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
Born Aug. 24, 1911, in Thackerville to Tom and Lou Holland Langston, she died Aug. 22, 2002, at a Gainesville, Texas convalescent center. She married Cecil Wayne Northcutt Sr. March 19, 1930, in Marietta. He preceded her in death Aug. 3, 1993. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Gene Castle in 1988.

Mrs. Northcutt had made her home at Marietta since her marriage. She and her husband had been the retired co-owners of Northcutt Furniture and Appliance Store. She was a member of First Untied Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Sue Hemphill, Greeley, Colo., and Marilyn Bullard, Gainesville; two brothers, E.H. Langston, Marietta, and Junior Ruth, Thackerville; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Bearers are Gene Washburn, Rick Lewis, Don Theune, Jim Marbry, Bob Michael and Ed Chambers.
