John Wesley Ethridge, Jr.
Mr. John Wesley Ethridge, Jr., 46, of Marion passed away at his home Wednesday, December 30, 2020 after a sudden illness.
John was born in Georgetown, South Carolina on March 14, 1974, a son to the late John Wesley Ethridge, Sr., and the late Faye Randolph “Brandy” Turner. John was a mechanic by trade and loved fixing things for people. He loved mudbogging, the muddier the better.
Surviving John are his Children: Wesley Burt Ethridge of Texas and Stormy Lee Ethridge of Raleigh; his Two Sisters: Terri (Chris) Pomeroy of Raleigh and Angie (Stewart) McIntyre of Marion; his Stepfather: Dan Rojas of Cherry Grove; his Nieces and Nephews: Daniel Troast, Tiffany Bonvillian, Jessica Sturm, Craig Sturm, Ashley Pomeroy, Christopher Pomeroy, Jr., Layla McIntyre, Colt McIntyre, Makinleigh McIntyre, and Lakelyn McIntyre; his Uncles: Albert Randolph of Andrews ,SC Burt (Anna) Randolph of Cookeville,TN and Roger Ethridge of Texas; and his Beloved Dog: Zeus and his Cat: Chew Toy.
A graveside service for John will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 3 at Red Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mullins, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. The family will receive well-wishers following the service at the cemetery.
The funeral home asks for the safety of all that masks be worn and social distancing be followed. The service will be livestreamed on our Facebook page and there is a guest book available on our website at www.coxcollinsfuneralhome.com .
