Reverend Charles Lloyd Ogdon, of Muldrow, Oklahoma was born on December 21, 1933 in Hanson Community to Jesse Pauline (Owens) Ogdon and Arvel Ogdon. He was married to Naomi Marie (Bagley) Ogdon on December 20, 1952 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on February 28, 2020. Charles passed away in his home on December 27, 2020 and met Naomi, his helpmate and partner in ministry, on the ‘west side of Hallelujah Square.’ Reverend Ogdon was an evangelist, pastor, and minister in the fellowship of the Assemblies of God.

Funeral services will take place at Muldrow First Assembly of God at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 4, 2021. Burial will be at Cottonwood Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He is survived by two daughters: Eva Coleman of Muldrow, Oklahoma and Linda and husband, Reverend David Dillon, of Bixby, Oklahoma. His six grandchildren, the pride of his life; Chad Coleman and wife, Carol, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Danielle Grimes and husband, John of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Reverend Danette Dillon of Bixby, Oklahoma, Dallas and Courtney Dillon, of Frisco, Texas, Reverend Destiny Dillon of Bixby, Oklahoma, and Reverend Dalayna Dillon of Bixby, Oklahoma; and his six great-grandsons: Gavin, Caden, Easton, Aaron, Austin and James. His youngest brother: Reverend Jerry Ogdon and wife, Peggy of Vinita, Oklahoma as well as his sister-in-law, Alene Ogdon of McKinney, Texas. This does not even take into account his numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, sister: Dorothene Jenkins, brother: Reverend Tom Ogdon and son-in-law: Reverend Bill Coleman.

Pallbearers are Gavin Coleman, Caden Coleman, Easton Coleman, Aaron Grimes, Austin Grimes, Jerry Wayne Ogdon and John Spradling.

Honorary Pallbearer is James Dillon.

Viewing will be from 10 am to 12 pm Monday, January 4, 2021 at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma.
