MIFFLINBURG Mrs. Edna Viola Shriner, 77, of 221 Pine Street died Monday, March 28, 1983 in the Lewisburg United Methodist Homes, where she was a guest for 7 1/2 years.
Born August 4, 1905, in West Buffalo Township, Union County, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Jane Zellers Aikey. Her husband, James Elwood, died in 1909.
Mrs. Shriner was a member of the Forest Hill United Methodist Church, Mifflinburg RD2.
She was survived by one grandson; one granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Amelia Miller of Milton; and one brother, Benjamin Aikey of Danville RD.
A daughter, Mrs. Margaret Helen Adams, died in 1981.
A memorial service was conducted in the Strunk Funeral Home, Mifflinburg, by the Reverend Richard W. Bender, chaplain of the Lewisburg United Methodist Homes.
Burial was in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
