Ellen Abbott Wight, 88, of El Cajon died Friday. She was born in Wales and was a health occupations director for the Grossmont Union High School District. She was a president of the San Diego County Lung Association and the California Nurses District Association.
Survivors include her daughters, Cricket Abbott and Tukey Abbott; and brother, John Groth.
Visitation: 10 a.m. to noon tomorrow, Humphrey Mortuary, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista.
Services: noon tomorrow at the mortuary.
Interment: 10 a.m. Friday, El Cajon Cemetery, 2080 Dehesa Road, El Cajon.
