Barbara "Barb" Lensing, 68, of Charles City, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
According to Barb's wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Barbara Ann (Mooberry) Lensing, the daughter of Clint and Louise (Daily) Mooberry, was born on January 11, 1952 in Floyd County, Iowa. She attended country school with her brothers and sisters, grade school in Floyd and graduated from Charles City High School. She then graduated from Hamilton College with an associate's degree.
Barb's greatest joys in life were her grandchildren and she was a very proud grandmother of Madison and Makenna Davis, Kaylie and Preston Banks, Madelyn and Ruby Lensing, and Drew Lensing.
Living family members include her husband, Dave Lensing; stepsons: Dirk (Michelle) Lensing and Todd (Donna) Lensing; daughter, Nicole (Travis Bilharz) Banks; son, Marty Banks; grandchildren: Madison and Makenna Davis, Kaylie and Preston Banks, and Madelyn and Ruby Lensing; brother, Dale (Diane) Mooberry; sisters-in-law: Mary Mooberry, Carolyn Mooberry, and Kathy Hagel; brother-in-law, Lloyd Robbins; along with several nieces, nephews, other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; twin brother, William "Bill" Mooberry; brothers, Jerry and Dennis Mooberry; sisters: Sharon Maulsby, Connie Diesburg Jenn, and Janice Robbins; and grandson, Drew Lensing.
Memorials may be directed to St. Croix Hospice of North Iowa.
